"I’ve participated in a variety of camps as both a camper and a ministry leader. After experiencing a summer of camp ministry at Patmos last summer I became a real believer of the unique ministry of this camp. I have grown to love this camp for two main reasons. First, Patmos is built on the foundation of Christ. The illuminated cross that stands in the center of the camp is a constant reminder that all programming fails if it doesn’t lead people to Christ. Second, programming at Patmos is open to the needs of specific groups. Instead of being handed a “one size fits all” program, I am free to plan retreats and camps to fit the specific needs of my group."
